How the Chest Came to Be

Lore of the Depths

Every haul has a history. Ours begins where the maps go blank.

They say the Siren's Sea Chest was never a shop at all, but a salvage vessel — one that sailed too far past the reef-line chasing rumors of a drowned trading empire. What the crew found in those trenches was not a ruin. It was a city still lit, its lanterns burning cold and blue a hundred fathoms down, and a voice in the water that knew their names. What little they brought back up, they could not bear to keep for themselves. And so a trade was born: retrieve the impossible, and pass it to hands that hear the same song.

The Salvage

Raised from Waters No One Charts

Our divers work the wrecks the admiralty pretends do not exist — sunken bazaars, glass-hulled galleons, temple-holds the tide swallowed and then, strangely, kept lit. Each artifact is logged, cleaned of the deep's grip, and appraised for what it truly is before it ever reaches the hold.

We make no promises about what these objects were used for. Only that they are genuine, they are rare, and they still carry a little of the light they were found in.

The Curation

Wares That Glow in the Deep

We curate for the dungeon master who wants their world to feel drowned and luminous — dice that glow like anglerfish lures, screens that rise like reef walls at dusk, journals bound in leather the color of a tide pool. Nothing harsh. Nothing generic. Nothing that would look out of place hauled up in a fisherman's net a hundred fathoms down, still faintly shining.

If it wouldn't survive the deep, it doesn't earn a place in the chest.

The Bargain

What It's Worth to You

We ask a fair price and no awkward questions. Commissions are welcome from those chasing something specific — a prop for a campaign's final act, a set of dice cursed just so. Send word by pigeon and we'll tell you what the deep can provide.
